Sojourner School Site Council
The Sojourner Site Council was established to meet the 21st Century Schools Requirement. Parents and staff work together to improve our school's instructional program.
The elected members of Sojourner Site Council represent parents, students, community members, and school staff in school governance. The Site Council is responsible for gathering, discussing and providing support toward the improvement of student performance and school climate. Generally, the Site Council meets once a month during the regular school year, and the term of office is two years.
The main responsibilities of the Site Councils include:

The development of plans to improve the professional growth of the school’s staff

The improvement of the school’s instructional program

The administration of grants and other funds specific to professional development.
